Baby Lucas 6-6-2012

Monday, September 3, 2012

I was not only blessed to do Shanna's Maternity photos but she also wanted some baby photos once baby Lucas was born.  Can I just tell you what a sweetie this little guy is?  We had a quick hour photo session, Lucas did not want to sleep but we got some great photos of him and his mommy that day.  Stay tuned for Shanna's and Lukes wedding next weekend! Super Excited :)

Sweet Sweet Cousins

Monday, October 31, 2011

I must say, having Mary over Saturday night and hanging out with my daughter Blythe was purely sweet and fun.  I loved hearing them whispering and talking "girl" talk and doing their hair and makeup for this session.  Two beautiful girls....

Applications for HS Senior Reps being accepted

Wednesday, August 10, 2011

A Senior Rep is someone that is a spokesmodel for Andrea Henshaw Photography!  Their job is to tell all their friends and classmates just how great their senior portrait experience was and to share their photos and pass out their rep cards to their friends and family. My hopes are that once your friends see what I can do - they are going to come to me for their senior portraits too.

The details:

  • Senior reps must apply and be accepted in order to represent Andrea Henshaw Photography
  • The Application deadline is August 15, 2011
  • Senior reps will get 2 photography  sessions! One FREE MINI session and one FULL photography session. (must complete 5 referrals for the FULL photography session)
  • If you refer (5) classmates (from your school) who books and completes their session with Andrea Henshaw Photography you will receive a FULL photography session. (25-30 photos,  high resolution saved to disc)
  • If you refer a student from ANOTHER SCHOOL, you earn a 25.00 credit  toward prints.
  • Senior Reps who complete 7 or more referrals will receive an album with 25-30 prints and a set of (25) senior portrait announcements to send to family and friends.

Senior Reps and a parent or guardian must sign a senior rep contract with full model release for advertising purposes.

The qualifications:

  • You must be a senior in high school.
  • You must be able to represent Andrea Henshaw Photography to friends and juniors and seniors in your school and community.
  • Parental consent is required to participate.

The catch:

  • There really isn't one.  If someone sees and likes your pictures, then give them your rep card and show them how to contact me.  Easy enough! You are NOT expected to discuss pricing or packages with them.

The rules:

  • Your parent's permission is a must.
  • You will need to sign a Senior Rep contract and Modeling Release with me so that I can use your beautiful  portraits in advertising.
  • You will pinky swear to promote Andrea Henshaw Photography and ONLY her photography, positively! You can't be a rep for us if you're a rep for another studio!

What do I have to do to be a Senior Rep?

  • Just fill out the application below - and if you're accepted, you will receive a phone call!

Thank again for your interest in becoming a Class of 2012 Senior Representative Model for Andrea Henshaw Photography!

Baby Gracie

Monday, August 1, 2011

On Saturday morning I met with Karen and Jessie Haydon with baby Gracie.  Wow, the second I saw her I was so excited to take her photos.  She is absolutely beautiful and her laugh made me smile so big.  I couldn't wait to get home to upload the photos and see what I was able to capture.  Take a look and let me know so far what you think!

The Jensen's

Wednesday, July 27, 2011

Has it really been a year since I did the last photo session with the Jensen's?  I couldn't believe my eyes, when I saw Cori and Cassi.  It was Cori's 18th Birthday on Sunday.

Her hair was shorter. no glasses. no braces. The first thing I thought was.....she reminds me of one of those young girls that go on America's Next Top Model. She showed up with her hair slightly damp, no makeup and in jeans. May I add the fact she had these cute lime green tennis shoes that made me smile. I have to say, she has grown up to be a very pretty lady. By the way Cori, thanks for putting up with us so early on your birthday. Hope you aren't so sore from the trampoline.

Cassi.  Well I see Cassi quite often because she works where I do.  Cassi is 19.  This time around she brought her sweet boyfriend Matt to join us.  I loved there natural chemistry and connection they shared.  OH Yeah, loved the tshirts!

Cari, thank you again for allowing me to capture your beautiful girls again (and you and your longtime friends) Looking  forward to next time!

Isn't she lovely?

Friday, March 18, 2011

I had some visitors tonight, well okay my son did, 4 kids and 1 great mom, Cheri. It was nice to have some people over even if I haven't been feeling good. Apparently I had the photography itch as I couldn't let them leave without getting a few photos. This is Cheri's daughter....Isn't she lovely?

Stepping outside my comfort zone......in Vegas

Monday, January 31, 2011

Last weekend I went to Vegas for 4 days with some great friends. Had the best time, best trip ever. Spent a few of the days with my SLR camera out, doing something I don't normally do. Taking landscape and object photos. A lot of throw aways when I got home and viewed them on the screen but there were a few keepers. The most important thing was I learned some new settings and also about how different it is for me to not have "people" in my photos. I noticed as I walked along the strip how I was drawn to wanting to take photos that included them in it instead of just some landmark or waterfall. Here are just a few photos I took.....Tell me what you think.
